Mottaret centre is just 5mins on foot where, during July & August, there is a good range of shops and restaurants and lifts to take you up the montain.  Meribel is 4kms, you can walk down a mountain trail, approx time 45mins or drive in under 10mins.  Meribel has a lovely swimming pool with a Relaxation Centre with Sauna, Fitness Room. Also in the Olympic Centre is an Ice Skating rink as well as a Climbing Wall and Bowling Alleys.

There are weekly Markets in Meribel with a wide range of Local Produce including Cheese, Charcuterie, Jams and Honey. 

The Chalet is ideally located for a wide range of summer activities as well as making a perfect base from which to explore this fantastic region.  The Tour de France will be passing nearby on it's way to Bourg St Maurice in July.

Le Chardon Bleu is available to rent by the week on a self-catering basis for up to 6 people and makes a perfect base for an activity holiday.
