Chalet Le Chardon Bleu is an extremely attractive, traditional style chalet which has been furnished and equipped to provide you with all the comforts of home. It sleeps 6 people in comfort in three bedrooms, 2 double rooms and 1 twin room with a large bathroom, shower room and two separate WC's. The comfortable sitting/dining room has doors out onto a surround balcony where you can enjoy the views over a lazy breakfast or a pre-dinner glass of wine. Unlimited Broadband Internet access with WiFi is available for those of you who need to keep in touch with E-mails etc and UK television is also provided. New for Summer 2010 - iPod Dock.

It is set high on the mountainside so you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Meribel valley. Walking in the Vanoise National Park is possible from the Chalet or you can drive to the starting point by the Lake, approx 3-4mins in the car, there is plenty of free parking. Many activities are also all within walking distance

Mottaret centre is just 5mins on foot where, during July & August, there is a good range of shops and restaurants and lifts to take you up the montain. Meribel is 4kms, you can walk down a mountain trail, approx time 45mins or drive in under 10mins. Meribel has a lovely swimming pool with a Relaxation Centre with Sauna, Fitness Room. Also in the Olympic Centre is an Ice Skating rink as well as a Climbing Wall and Bowling Alleys.

There are weekly Markets in Meribel with a wide range of Local Produce including Cheese, Charcuterie, Jams and Honey.

The Chalet is ideally located for a wide range of summer activities as well as making a perfect base from which to explore this fantastic region.

Le Chardon Bleu is available to rent by the week on a self-catering basis for up to 6 people and makes a perfect base for an activity holiday.
The Prices quoted below do not include Linen and Towels. Linen and Towels can be rented from us, cost £12 per person per week or you can bring your own.
