Booking With Ski Chardon Bleu

All Bookings at Chalets under the banner of Ski Chardon Bleu are subject to the following terms and conditions:

1.  Reservation

No contract exists between Simon and Jane Lambert (Ski Chardon Bleu) and the person making the reservation until the Non-Refundable deposit of £100 per person per week (or other specified amount) and a signed booking form are received by us (Simon & Jane Lambert).  The person signing the booking form guarantees payment to us of the total cost of the holiday and does so on behalf of and with the consent of all the others for whom the booking is made.  For Bookings made within 9 weeks of arrival, payment in full must accompany the booking form.

2.   Payment and cancellation

The balance of the cost must be paid eight weeks before your arrival.  Should full payment not be received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply the undermentioned cancellation charges.

If you cancel ... All cancellations must be made in writing by the person signing the booking form and the following cancellation charges will apply:

More than eight weeks before departure                              Deposit only

2 - 4 weeks before departure                                                  60% of total cost
0 - 2 weeks before departure                                                  100% of total cost

If we cancel ... In the unlikely event that we are obliged to cancel your holiday prior to departure, you will be notified and will receive a full refund.

3.   Our responsibilities

We undertake to provide the holiday as described on our Web Site.  However, we shall not be responsible for circumstances beyond our control which include but are not limited to act of God, civil disturbance, war, acts of government, strikes, industrial action, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire, closure of ports or airports or similar event.We undertake not to impose any surcharges.  Once your holiday has been booked, the price will not alter.

4.   Your responsibilities

It is a condition of booking that all clients have full holiday insurance, including medical, winter sports, cancellation and third party cover.

You are responsible for your own insurance, travel documents and travel arrangements.  Guests undertake to behave in such a way as not to disrupt the enjoyment of others on holiday or in any way harm the reputation of  Simon & Jane Lambert (Ski Chardon Bleu).  We reserve the right to terminate without compensation the holiday of any guest not upholding these conditions and we shall have no further obligations to that guest.  Any damages to the chalets or their contents will be charged to the guest and must be settled before their departure.

The person signing the booking form accepts these conditions on behalf of all party members and shall be responsible for all actions, loss, damages and costs caused by any party member.  They shall indemnify us against any claims including legal costs made against us by any person.

5.   Other groups

We reserve the right to have other parties staying in the chalet unless the whole chalet is taken.

6.   Complaints

In the unlikely event that you should have cause for complaint during your stay, please inform us immediately so that we may take the appropriate action without delay.  We cannot subsequently accept a complaint that has not been brought to our attention during the course of your holiday.

7.   Refunds

No refunds in respect of meals not taken will be given.

8.   Jurisdiction

These conditions and any contract to which they apply are governed and construed in accordance with English law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
