Ski Chardon Bleu

We, Jane and Simon Lambert, set up Ski-Chardon Bleu in 1998 as a vehicle to provide a complete ski holiday experience in our own chalet, le Chardon Bleu in Mottaret.  Our underlying aim is to combine the intimacy of your own personal space with the option of enjoying the catered Chalet experience with excellent cuisine and wine provided by experienced chefs or to choose to cater for yourself giving you the freedom to do as you please.  All this combined with a high level of personal service and the best skiing.

At the outset, we chose Mottaret to build our own chalet 'Chardon Bleu' because of its height and its excellent access to the other two valleys. Les Cîmes apartment also in Mottaret benefits from a great location and is ski-in/ski-out. In Meribel we also have Dou du Pont, a great Chalet located right by the Chaudanne and Meribel’s main lifts.

Both chalets offer quality, comfort and style and enjoy fantastic locations.  Chardon Bleu offers you the choice of being either self catered or catered by outside caterers, you choose your level of catereng. For the fully catered experience and to ensure that your every need is answered, our catered Chalet Dou du Pont has two staff members, a chef and a Housekeeper.

We will deal with all your enquiries and bookings personally.  We have been involved with Meribel as property owners for some twenty years and live in the area.  We have a wealth of knowledge and contacts to help you with airport transfers, ski lessons, equipment hire, childcare and any other issues.  If we don’t have the immediate answer to your question, we are bound to know someone who does!
