1 x Housekeeper for Chalet Dou du Pont (this is a part time position)

Ski Chardon Bleu is a small quality Chalet Company with just three private chalets, run on a fully catered basis, in Méribel and Mottaret, France. We have two Chalets in Mottaret and one in central Meribel.  All three are extremely comfortable, sleeping 8 people in Chalet Chardon Bleu, 10/12 people in Chalet Yankee Lodge and 8/9 in Chalet Dou du Pont in Meribel.  We own Chardon Bleu ourselves and manage for friends’ Chalet Yankee Lodge, which is just next door to Chalet Chardon Bleu and Chalet Dou du Pont in Meribel.

With 12 seasons of providing quality private catered chalet holidays, we are well aware that our staff play a large part in the success of the business. We are therefore looking for enthusiastic, committed and experienced people with relevant experience to join us and help us to continue to offer quality private chalet holidays.

Our staff are a very important part of our service and contribute significantly to the success of the business. So ideally we are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, committed and outgoing people to join us next season and help us to run the three chalets to a high standard.  We require, in total, three chefs and three housekeepers, one chef and one housekeeper in each of our two Mottaret Chalets and 1 Chef for our Meribel Chalet plus a daily Housekeeper.

We want to make sure that our guests have the best possible skiing holiday, both on and off the slopes, so we need people with experience, commitment and a high standard of work. In return we make sure that you are well rewarded whilst getting the most out of the fantastic Three Valleys ski area. We offer an attractive pay package, good working conditions and accommodation. This is why we have had staff return to work with us for more than one season and they have become great friends.

To make sure that high standards are maintained throughout the whole season we like staff to arrive in early December so that they can familiarise themselves with the chalets and the way they are run so that, when the first guests arrive everybody knows exactly what is expected of them.

We are very much part of the team and we are involved with the daily running of the three chalets. Four staff share an apartment and one staff member lives in one of the Chalets.
