Would you like to spend the winter working in our private chalet amongst some breathtaking scenery and fantastic ski-ing in Meribel, France.......
We are looking for a Chalet Cook & Housekeeper Host to join our small private Ski Co. to run our Chalet in Meribel, France this winter season. A Couple, or two friends would be ideal to take care of the cooking, housekeeping and general running of the chalet on a day to day basis. 

You must be able to prepare interesting menus of Dinner Party/Cordon Bleu standard to suit the guests tastes and be able to accommodate various dietary requirements.  Prepare shopping lists, order food and go shopping once a week at the local Supermarket. Some Budgeting/Accounting also required.
The roles include providing breakfast, afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes/biscuits and a 4 course evening meal on 6 nights plus the general cleaning/running of the chalet, serving/clearing breakfast, clearing tea and serving/clearing dinner and generally making sure that guests needs are met at all times. Other duties include, organising equipment hire and generally making sure that the Chalet is running smoothly and above all that the guests are happy.

Ski Chardon Bleu is our small and successful quality Chalet Company with just two private chalets in Méribel and Mottaret, France.  Chardon Bleu is self catered so does not need staff and Dou du Pont is run on a fully catered basis with two staff. The Chalets are extremely comfortable, sleeping 8 people in Chalet Chardon Bleu and 8/9 in Chalet Dou du Pont in Meribel.  With 12 seasons of providing quality private catered chalet holidays, we are well aware that our staff play a large part in the success of the business. We are therefore looking for enthusiastic and committed people to join us and help us to continue to offer a complete ski-ing experience in our lovely chalets.

We want to make sure that our guests have the best possible skiing holiday, both on and off the slopes, so we need people with enthusiasm, commitment and a high standard of work. In return we make sure that you are well rewarded whilst getting the most out of the fantastic Three Valleys ski area. We offer an attractive pay package, good working conditions and accommodation. This is why we have had staff return to work with us for more than one season and they have become great friends.

To make sure that high standards are maintained throughout the whole season we like staff to arrive in early December so that they can familiarise themselves with the chalets and the way they are run so that, when the first guests arrive everybody knows exactly what is expected of them.
