I thought I would drop a quick note now that we are a week back from our holiday, to say what a wonderful time we had at Chalet Dou Du Pont.
The whole party was really taken aback at the level of great hospitality from Gareth, who cooked nothing short of fabulous meals every night, and he was really helpful and friendly. The chalet was great, wonderful position and really comfortable. The kids thought it was heaven for a home!
I know you said it was 'sort of' ski in ski out but we all managed it, despite the heavy snow!
What a wonderful position for a chalet.
We will definitely make you first port of call next time we come to Meribel and Mottaret, which we hope to be next year. We have also mentioned you to a number of friends.
The whole experience with travelling out, private transfers (Alpline were great if you want to add another recommendation to your list), the great service from Privilege and of course a great week of snow made it all a holiday to remember.

Hi Jane
I am Jonathan Ferguson's mother and just thought I would drop you a line to say how much we enjoyed the week in your beautiful chalet.
The accommodation was superb as was the service provided by Gareth and Hayley. Gareth's cooking was wonderful and every meal was a joy.
They were also very supportive and helpful when unfortunately Jonathan had a nasty tumble on Friday and fractured his wrist. He is thankfully recovering well now home in England.
It was my first experience of an alpine ski holiday and I will definitely look forward to going again although I think I may have left it a bit late to learn to ski.
As a family holiday it was certainly a great success and many thanks for providing such a lovely setting.

I just wanted to say on behalf of our group how much we enjoyed our stay in Meribel-Mottaret last week. Your chalet is lovely and in a great position for exploring the whole of the Three Valleys. We also want to say how much we enjoyed being looked after by the very charming Sarah and Ian. We couldn't have hoped for better hosts. They were both wonderful and really bent over backwards to make sure our week was comfortable and all our needs were met. All the food and wine were utterly delicious!
Hope the rest of the season goes well. I'm looking forward to my next visit to the Three Valleys already!

Having just returned from one of our best ski holidays to date I would like to thank you and your staff for making everyone's stay in Meribel one to remember. The chalet had a lovely homely atmosphere and having 3 non skiers + a baby was a concern initially as they would be spending a lot of time in the chalet. Our concerns were unfounded and your staff were most friendly and helpful at all times. We couldn't have wished for a better location.
Please pass our best wishes and thanks to Richard and Gary. The food experience was one that we will always remember as Gary proved how versatile and talented he was throughout the week with top notch quality dishes being conjured up every night. Everyone in the party commented on the cuisine being one of the high spots of our stay.
Thanks also go to you for all of your help during the organisation stages of the trip. Being the group leader I am always concerned and feel responsible if things don't go according to plan. I'm happy to say that every aspect of our trip went perfectly.
When considering future ski holidays we will certainly consider Ski Chardon Bleu as one of our 1st option. I will also be recommending you to my friends.

 Dear Jane
We've arrived back in England after a very easy drive through France and are feeling very despondent at not being in the mountains!
Although we left the chalet at 7.45, Ian and I were still in Meribel at 8.30 - watching the British Land Championships warming up! We just did not want to leave! Our week was our best yet - conditions being absolutely perfect certainly did help (Saulire on Saturday @ 9.15 with nobody else around, in powder - wow) but it was Adam and Suzy who made our stay such a delight. They were so charming and friendly and always ready to help in any way they could.
The chalet was always lovely, warm and clean and Suzy was so attentive. And the food - I don't think we've ever eaten so well - thank you so much. It was great to see James, a very fussy eater, eat such fantastic food. Edward adored the food as well. I can say we did spend part of our day discussing the previous nights food and guessing the next nights!!
I see you have next years prices up and just wondered if you could give us a price for either Christmas, New Year or 23rd March.
I could go on and on because we are all on such a high after such a great week - please feel free to use any of our words on your website.

Jane, sorry for not being in touch sooner, but a week away generally leads to a very chaotic week when you get back.
I must write to say what a superb week we had at Yankee Lodge, a great property and the most fantastic staff, Tim was a great host and was so helpful with the everything including the children, & Sybilla ( not sure on spelling) what a Chef !!!, not normally a cake person but the apres ski tea and cakes are to die for
It is fair both families had a simply great week despite miserable weather for the early part.

Hi Jane,
I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get around to emailing you after our stay in Mottaret but we all so keenly wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had in Yankee Lodge. The skiing was great, the
accommodation was lovely and the location - to die for, with the view etc really helped to make it such a fantastic week for old friends who had not seen each other in a long time.
But I must mention that it was Sybilla and Tim that really topped it off for all of us. We could not fault them in the slightest; they were welcoming and accommodating when we first arrived, Tim was incredibly
helpful and patient in managing the kids with all their ski gear (not to mention us adults!) and ferrying us to and from Mottaret and Meribel, Sybilla cooked superbly all week and Tim worked so well as her off
sider, serving and clearing etc. They were polite and friendly yet discreet when need be and were so willing to find out information regarding the resort, restaurants, ski lessons etc.
You must be so delighted to have two such professional, capable and lovely people running your chalet. Please pass on our best to them and tell them to please contact me should they ever be passing through Geneva.
Jane, we would be very keen in booking to same week in Yankee Lodge under the same conditions for January 2008. Please let me know if this would be possible.

Hi Jane and Simon,
This is just a quick note to thank you for our stay at Chalet Chardon Bleu this week just passed - March 4-11 2007.
You are likely to hear from others in the group as we have all been raving about how much we enjoyed our holiday.
The quality of food provided by Adam and cheerfully served by Susie really is first class. Having a chef of Adam's talent available makes the whole experience quite decadent and obviously we loved it. Also the efforts to cater for our particular food requirements was much appreciated. The pair of them also went to great lengths to ensure we were very well informed and looked after. From the ski report updates (WiFi is also great for that), help with ski and boot hire, to the all important drop off and pick up service to the lifts. On top of all that they are good company to have around the chalet.
In regards to the chalet it is a lovely cosy place to rest up after a hard days skiing.
Thanks again and please know that your attention to these type of details really makes for a great stay.

I would like to write to agree with the sentiments written below.
I have been on a number of ski trips in my time, and have never enjoyed the experience as much as the week we spent at your chalet. The food provided by Adam was absolutely stunning on every occasion, so much care and attention went into presentation and variety. He was also exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout the entire week with meal times and lifts to and from the slopes.
Suzie was equally attentive and made sure we had everything we needed whenever we were in the chalet, way above and beyond the level of service we had expected.
Adam and Suzie's professionalism and attention to detail made this holiday unforgettable for us all.
Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful, cosy chalet and such dedicated staff.

Many thanks to you for our excellent weeks skiing at Chalet Chardon Bleu in Janaury 2005.  We had the most wonderful holiday despite the exceptionally cold weather!
We were extremely well looked after by our Chef/Host and cannot thank her enough for the care and excellent food we received.  The Chalet is very warm and welcoming with fabulous views and plenty of games, books and even CBeebies for the children (if you're a parent, you'll know what I mean!)  On that point, the nanny service reecommended was excellent.  My 3 year old daughter throughly enjoyed her time with Claire and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her to any other parents.  Also many thanks for organising the Wonderful Cyril for Ski Tuition.  Hope you enjoy the rest of the season, wish we were there!

Now we are back home to cold wet English winter weather, we are all looking back on last week with great longing. We had a fantastic time!
Laura is a first class chalet girl/cook who looked after us brilliantly.  Your recommendations for Ski Tuition and Nannies were spot on.  Both Pierre and Tom were wonderful... and I'm not usually so full of superlatives!  The Children are still talking excitedly about skiing 'right from the top of the mountains' and are saving their pocket money for next year !
